You should know by now that Alan Moore is the best comic book writer. Miracleman is a redone version of the British comic Marvelman. Redone in that it's more adult orientated.

The story of the reappearance of Miracleman senior, after a period in which everyone thought he was dead, is masterfully told. Garry Leach's art looks in mould with the original Marvelman series. The villains are impressive and compliment the sublime character of Miracleman.

It's an amazing series, so that Neil Gaiman wrote issues 17 onwards.
